Research Task - Contents Page

The contents page features the titles of some important pages in the magazine and makes sure to bring your attention to these titles using either different but identifiable fonts that are considerably bigger and contrasting in their colour than anything else on the page, or images of bands and artists with the titles in front of them.

Separated by either whitespace or headings and quotes from artists which are always in a separate font style or colour to everything else, the titles are easy to locate within the page and because of this any other elements in the page stand out easily. (For example, the red notice in the bottom right reading "Get K! Delivered to your door for just £6 per month" stands out because there's nothing else on the page consistent with it). There is a reasonable contrast between things on the page and at the same time parts of the page that are similar are consistent which makes reading and scanning pages easy.
